The Hound of the Baskervilles plot
Wealthy landowner Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead in the park of his castle, located in Dartmoor. He appears to have died of a heart attack, but according to his best friend, Dr. Mortimer, there's more to it. According to him, Charles is the victim of a supernatural being that haunts the area in the guise of a huge dog. Huge dog tracks around the corpse seem to confirm this story. Mortimer fears that Charles' heir, his cousin Sir Henry Baskerville, is in grave danger. So he enlists the help of Sherlock Holmes.
