The Buckingham Murders plot
Jasmeet Bhamra, a British detective of Indian descent who recently lost her son, is assigned the murder case of a ten-year-old boy in Buckinghamshire. During the investigation, she discovers that the murder is linked to a drugs scandal that shocks the boy's parents. As Jasmeet delves deep into the case, her superior Hardy tries to underplay this, leading to a scuffle between them and Jasmeet's position being downgraded to a desk job. But Jasmeet does not give up and pressures her superiors to let her work on the case, which has many loopholes in the law.
