Tailspin Tommy Tompkins is a young auto mechanic. Tommy gets a job at the small cargo carrier Three Points Airlines. Partly because of Tommy's arrival, Three Points Airlines receives a contract from the government to transport mail for them. Evil Wade "Tiger" Taggart, the head of a rival cargo airline, is angry because he didn't get the order from the government. He still wants to achieve this by sabotage the planes of Three Points Airlines with the help of accomplices.
