Star Reporter plot
"He Asked For A MURDER and HE GOT ONE!"
John Randolph is an idealistic young newspaper owner, who uses his newspaper as a tool for the common good. John is on a successful campaign against crime: corrupt politicians leave town. The District Attorney William Burnette is Barbara's father. Barbara, who loves John Randolph, learns that John's father is a wanted criminal. John doesn't know that. William Burnette refuses to sue John's father. John, not knowing why, turns on him.
