St. Pauli zwischen Nacht und Morgen plot

Helmut Schmidt is a handy, ambitious inspector employed by Interpol Zurich. He is adamant on the trail of a dangerous gang of drug dealers. His case leads him to Hamburg, where he decides with the local police to infiltrate the gang. The beautiful dancer Arlette will be his assistant. Meanwhile, the gang is working on a plan to rob a money transport. Helmut will act as the last man to receive the money bags and put them in safekeeping. He wants to help carry out the plan, but suddenly doesn't let his Hamburg colleagues hear from him anymore.
