"RICHARD DIX in the story of a crime"
William 'Bill' Fenwick is a criminal lawyer. However, Bill has increasingly been seen as a mouthpiece for these mobsters ever since his brother George Fenwick, a Justice Department investigator, was murdered by gang leader Edward J. "Eddie" Selton. To clear his name, Bill leaves his practice and his untrustworthy girlfriend. He then goes undercover in Nevada as Richard "Dick" Galt to investigate the money laundering practices surrounding stolen gold bars. Bill seems to be making progress since he follows the attractive Virginia, who is somehow involved in the gangster gang.
