1953, the Korean War has ended. Two eighteen-year-old boys, Tae-ho and Jong-du, live in a camp for orphans. However, it looks more like a concentration camp. Everyone is hungry, the boys are treated inhumanely and the working conditions are unbearable. But these two have a dream of a better future. Tae-ho is the one with the wits and Jong-du is a real street fighter. Together they hatch a plan to steal supplies from the US military and recruit other guys to expand their business. But when they run afoul of local mobsters, their struggle for survival turns into a war.
