"THE SCANDAL SQUAD USES BLONDE BAIT TO TRAP A 3-TIME KILLER!"
When Club Bermuda, a gambling club run by Marty Fain, comes into contact with petty mobster Johnny Warjak, Fain offers his customers to make up for their losses. Among the customers who claim to have lost is the wealthy Linda Vickers. Fain doesn't trust her claim, but Linda invites him to her apartment and they begin an affair. The next morning Linda is awakened by Homicide Lieutenant McReady and he tells her that Warjak has been murdered and that his killer used her car to escape.
