Seven Times Lucky plot
"You only con the ones you love."
It's Christmas on the Canadian Prairie. Harlan, a petty con artist, plots a new job with his partner Fiona. Expensive watches from a jeweler, borrowed money from a loan shark, and an old violin are all part of it. A pawnbroker with a vault full of money and several well-armed or secured crooks also play their part. One deceives the other, but the other also has his own plan.
