"Don't cry for Salim"
Salim was born lame and still lives with his mother and father and a sister old enough to marry. Salim and his father search for a suitable groom for the sister. They meet Aslam. Salim rejects Aslam because he doesn't earn enough. Salim later meets some mobsters who promise him that he will soon be rich. All he has to do is incite religious riots, Hindus against the Muslims and he will be well rewarded. Salim has always wanted to be rich, but will he take this opportunity?
