Rillington Place plot

Truthful three-part TV series based on the horrific murders committed by John Christie in the 1940s and 1950s in war-ravaged London. There was also a wrongful conviction involved: Timothy Evans was hanged for a crime he did not commit. Christie continued to murder undisturbed until his arrest in 1953, while Evans contributed to the abolition of the death penalty in Britain by wrongful hanging.
