Prisonnières plot
A new batch of convicts arrive at a women's prison. Nicole has murdered her own child and is in solitary confinement, for her own safety. The other prisoners also have their problems. Nelly, for example, is in college, but gets unjustly in trouble for drugs and Marthe has a hard time because she has a relationship with the director, Madame Dessombes.
