Portrait of a Mobster plot
"The screen puts on brass knuckles and a bulletproof vest to tell the Dutch Schultz story all the way!"
In the 1920s, brash and ambitious mobster Dutch "Beer Baron of the Bronx" Schultz is building a criminal network. Schulz also has an affair with Iris, the daughter of John Murphy, whom he murdered in the past. Eventually, Iris marries police officer Frank Brennan. With the help of his criminal organization, Schulz knows that Brennan is in trouble. Irish then leaves her husband and returns to Schulz, but she does not yet know that he is her father's murderer.
