Polizist Wäckerli in Gefahr plot

After moving to Oeppenau, police officer Gottlieb Wäckerli (Schaggi Streuli) and his wife Hedwig (Margrit Rainer) live with their son Ruedi (René Scheibli) and his wife Annelies (Fay Kaufmann) and their son in a small house. Gottlieb and Ruedi usually disagree and their mutual discussions reach their climax on Gottlieb's 60th birthday. In addition, Gottlieb must solve a mysterious series of thefts at the local department store. When a murder also takes place, he urgently needs the help of his son.
