Ojos Que No Ven plot
In Ojos Que No Ven, a mosaic of fictional storylines is set against the collapse of President Fujimori's regime in Peru. On the basis of six stories set during the corrupt 1990s, director Lombardi portrays the moral decomposition that proliferated in all classes and generations of Peruvian society. We follow the doings of six people as the "Vladi videos" are discovered. These videos include images of presidential adviser Vladimiro Montesinos bribing high-ranking officials for years. Several weeks later, these videos will inexorably lead to the fall of Fujimori. Now everyday life goes on as usual, even if there is tension in the air: in a hospital room there is heated discussion about the political pros and cons, a young girl goes to her weekly orchestra rehearsal, an archaeologist continues his research with determination and a acclaimed television presenter disappears from the screen... Even people who apparently have nothing to do with each other appear to influence each other's lives in one way or another in an irreversible way under this corrupt regime.
