My Death Is a Mockery plot
After being sentenced to death, a Brixham fisherman tells of the events that led him there. He had fallen on hard times and was persuaded by an Australian opportunist to start smuggling brandy from the French coast. However, the murder of a policeman soon causes the plans to fall apart.
