Mue Puen plot

Former sergeant Sommai lost his leg in the war and now works as a hitman in Bangkok to earn money to improve his life and his epileptic son. Sommai plans to retire from being a hit man in the near future, but when his son's health deteriorates, and the medical costs associated with Sommai become increasingly difficult to cope with, Sommai is forced to take on more and more dangerous jobs. Meanwhile, Police Inspector Thanu "Black Hand" Adharn, infamous for usually unceremoniously shooting his detainees, is asked to interfere in the hunt for Sommai. Thanu is reluctant, because he and Sommai served in the same army unit, and Sommai once saved his life.
