Le Glaive et la Balance plot
"A queer, a gigolo, and a brute—who could’ve done it?"
A boy is kidnapped and murdered on the French Riviera. The police, watching the ransom collection, give chase to two men after determining that the boy is dead. The men flee in a speedboat after which they entrench themselves in a lighthouse. However, when the police surround the lighthouse, three men come out. All three claim that they are innocent and that they are the one who was already present in the lighthouse.
