La Métamorphose des Cloportes plot

Three petty thieves receive a tip for a robbery involving a lot of money. Unfortunately, they don't have enough money to buy necessary items for the robbery. They involve Alphonse (Lino Ventura). However, the well-planned attack in which only Alphonse is arrested fails and he is sentenced to several years in prison. When he is released, he wants revenge.
