La Maison du Mystère plot

Julien Villandrit is the owner of the Les Basses-Bruyères estate and its textile factory, where his childhood friend Corradin is the manager. Julien marries his neighbor Régine, not knowing that Corradin also loves her. Julien is sent to prison for a murder that was actually committed by Corradin. The only witness who knows the truth is the ranger Rudeberg and Corradin buys his silence by paying for the education of his son Pascal. Julien's fight to clear his name and save Régine and their daughter Christiane from Corradin's lies takes many years and has many setbacks.
