One stormy evening, a beautiful waitress from the Rallier inn, locally nicknamed "The Inn of Sin", receives a full bag of banknotes from an unknown wounded man. This amount will belong to him, if one does not search for the bag within eight days. But the next morning, the man is found murdered in front of the inn. The owners of the café Rallier become suspicious and the waitress is questioned. The evening of that same day, she is also murdered.
