Kyôaku plot

Death row resident and former yakuza Sudo writes a letter to magazine journalist Fujii. In this letter, he writes that a man named Kimura committed numerous murders to collect insurance money. After running a quick check on Sudo's tip, Fujii concludes that it's true. But a lot of time has passed since the murders and Sudo is of course not the most credible witness. However, Sudo's and Fujii's perseverance persuades the police to investigate the case.
