Klem plot
Film sequel to the series of the same name. Marius and Kitty have been living on their vineyard in beautiful Tuscany for some time. Now that Marius has made amends, Hugo leaves to drop his daughter Suus off at Chrissie's house with Sophie for a long-awaited reunion. Even before Hugo arrives, everything goes wrong: his car catches fire, and his life is at stake. Again Hugo ends up in the criminal circuit, but now in a country where Dutch invaders are not wanted, and murder and kidnapping are high on the list.

The story is a bit implausible at times, but Jacob Derwig steals the show with great acting, just like in the TV series. Barry Atsma also puts down a very credible loser. Georgina Verbaan is also convincing and her Italian is certainly not disappointing. All in all, an entertaining and occasionally comic film, shot in a very beautiful part of Italy.

Was a nice video. But as often with sequels to series, it was a little disappointing. It wasn't really exciting. In general, the protagonists do a good job. Especially Marius. The beautiful Tuscany was definitely a plus. All in all just 3*.

Sequel to the series of the same name, which I had honestly never heard of, but that is not a problem for several reasons. Ex-murderer Marius [Jacob Derwig] and girlfriend Kitty [Georgina Verbaan] live in Italy where their flower business seems to end in yet another failure. Until regular customer Mr Garboni [Enzo Storico] makes them an offer they can't refuse. Kitty and Marius come into possession of a beautiful vineyard for a bargain price. Too good to be true, of course, and soon Garboni's estranged daughter Isabella [Claudia Vismara] comes to redress in a less than gentle manner. That's extra bad luck for Hugo [Barry Atsma] and fiancée Sophie [Ellen Parren]. Strange and ineffective mix of thriller and comedy, because it just doesn't want to be really exciting or funny. Derwig is saddled with abysmal one-liners.
