Journey into Light plot
"The story of a man who turned his back on God!"
Reverend John Burrows, an ordained minister from a small town, envisions himself with a larger congregation. He is ashamed when his wife drunkenly interrupts a sermon and becomes discouraged after her suicide. Burrows travels to Los Angeles for a fresh start, but becomes a drifter on Skid Row and is arrested for public intoxication. Con man Gandy finds him a bed at an inn, and street preacher "Doc" Thorssen and his blind daughter Christine take Burrows on a mission.
