Vidya is a reporter who reports on the state of affairs in the entertainment world. But she has to stop because she gets the chance to cover crime in a program. She is starting to believe in her new job and she loves her new job. One day she gets a call from a girl named Sangeeta from Pune. Sangeeta tells that a police officer named SP Gupta (Vinay Apte) sexually assaulted her. Vidya devises a trap to let Gupta walk in and then broadcast it on TV. But alas, Gupta does not fall into the trap, but another man named Dandekar. Vidya and Sangeeta are not happy about this and Vidya promises Sangeeta that the images will not be broadcast on TV. But things only get out of hand when the images are broadcast on TV during a news broadcast. She is disappointed but decides to fight back.
