Gunman in the Streets plot
US Army deserter and criminal on the run Eddy Roback is chased through the streets of Paris. The fugitive finds his old girlfriend Denise Vernon and tries to get money from her for an attempt to escape across the Belgian border. The girlfriend's boyfriend, an American crime reporter, as well as a nationwide investigation, create hurdles that should prevent Roback from escaping. While she tries to find money for him, Denise finds refuge for him in the studio of the lecherous photographer Max Salva, who thinks of turning in Roback...
