Grace & Mercy plot

In poor health and engulfed in poverty, Mercy has a plan to give her daughter a good future. With the help of her sister Grace, she robs her former employer. During the robbery, a silent alarm goes off and the two women flee to a nearby church. They keep the police at bay by taking the priest and his staff hostage. While the LAPD outside does everything it can to contain the situation, the priest and his faithful resort to spiritual guidance. Slowly, Grace and Mercy begin to trust in the Lord.
