Tom Cochrane is under the influence of drugs (cocaine) and covered in blood when he is arrested by the police and interrogated by detectives Shannon and Taylor. His friend Lois Walter and her brother-in-law Mac, a police officer, help him solve the potential murder case. All Tom remembers is that he met a man in a bar and went to a party with him. They go looking for him and find him. He takes them to an apartment where they indeed find the body of a murdered girl.
