Escape from San Quentin plot

A group of inmates from "San Quentin" Prison in California are sent to work at a local farm for good behavior. Three of them (Mike Gilbert, Roy Gruber and Hap Graham) decide to take advantage of this and plan to escape. The escape is successful and the trio steal a truck, which they use to flee to the local airport. They then plan to steal a plane and fly to freedom with it. Roy is thrown from the stolen aircraft on takeoff. This plane is only half filled and Mike and Hap are forced to make an emergency landing. With a stolen car, both head to Los Angeles to retrieve a stolen loot worth $120,000. However, Roy survived the fall and is out for revenge.
