Die Weiße Spinne plot
A terrible criminal gang kills unpleasant people for a fee. At the scene of the crime, Scotland Yard keeps finding a small white glass spider. This is also the case with the passionate player Richard Irvine, who is killed in a mysterious car accident. In doing so, he leaves his surviving wife Muriel completely destitute. Her husband had gambled his entire fortune into the 55's Club. The insurance was also of the opinion that it was not an accident, so nothing is paid out at all. When Scotland Yard Inspector Dawson follows a trail from the gambling den, he is killed with a wire. That's why the Yard is now deploying first-rate detective Conway, whose face no one has seen in this case yet.
