Ambitious journalist Klaus Urban is under pressure. His high career goals are not at all attainable with the coverage of the small everyday things. To impress his editor and gain a better reputation with his home magazine, Urban doesn't even shy away from using criminal methods. He talks about crimes he has committed himself and turns his sewer journalism into sensational news. This gives Urban the reputation of an extraordinary reporter.
