Der Mörder und die Hure plot

Roman (Sebastian Koch) is a downtrodden ex-student, while opposite Sonja (Katja Studt) is a well-behaved and convinced Christian. They meet at the German-Polish border, fall in love, but after a while lose sight of each other. Sonja finds him again when, as a taxi driver, he drops off a customer at a brothel. She is now a hooker in the service of one of the most powerful underworld bosses in Berlin.
