Cry of the City plot
"From the heart of its people comes the ... cry of the city."
After a diamond heist, in which Martin Rome shot a police officer, Rome is taken to a hospital. Agent Candella makes frantic efforts to get him to reveal the identity of his accomplice. The real trouble starts when Rome manages to escape and goes in search of the diamonds.
