Criss Cross plot

"A nightmare world where nothing is what it seems..."

Private detective Nick Slaughter is hired by the seductive and mysterious Liora Burke to investigate a dubious murder and life insurance claim. Though everyone involved tells him it's nothing more than a natural death, Nick suspects malicious intent is involved. When his own life is repeatedly threatened, he is determined to uncover the truth. He is then sucked into a sinister world of sexual scandals.
