New York City's Brock Miller flees to Puerto Rico on suspicion of murder. The murder case is complex, because the murdered man took out a life insurance policy shortly before his death. Manuel, a Puerto Rican boy whom Brock had befriended a year ago, offers him a safe house. Brock meets the attractive brunette Connie Lane in Puerto Rico and falls in love with her. Brock plans to collect data on the real killer. As time goes by, it turns out that Bergmann, the murdered man's business partner, committed the murder and not Brock. But can Brock prove his innocence…
