Cop Hater plot
"Cop Bait! She winks... she loves... she kills... and it's always a guy with a badge!"
It's a sultry, hot night in New York when Detective Mike Reardon is gunned down on his way from home to work. His colleagues Steve Carelli and Mike Maguire cannot think of a motive to which Reardon owed this execution. The investigation has only just begun when Reardon's younger colleague is also shot. Carelli and Maguire in charge of the investigation get stuck every time. Meanwhile, journalist Hank Miller sets out to investigate on his own.
