While filming a 2016 documentary series on Appalachian folklore and mythology, a team of amateur filmmakers stumble upon the legend of a mysterious box hidden deep within a wilderness area known as "Jeffrey's Hell" in the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee. As the mystery unfolds, they soon discover that some secrets are best kept away and forgotten. Three years later, their footage was found.
