Chantage plot

After her father was arrested for blackmail, his unsuspecting daughter works as a saleswoman for a befriended antique dealer. Both her employer and the neighbor who makes her advances are also complicit. They try to avoid her potentially incriminating testimony. However, the neighbor starts to love her more and more so that this gnaws at his conscience.
