Black Market Babies plot
"EXPOSED! The Inhuman Racket Of Babies For Sale!"
Doctor and alcoholic Henry Jordon teams up with mobster Eddie Condon and shady lawyer Anthony Marsden in an illegal adoption network. The trio entices unwed mothers to give their babies to them for adoption. They have a so-called philanthropic baby farm where childless couples can adopt a child for $5,000. The adoptions are going well until a baby is stillborn. Condon had already sold the baby and he has no intention of returning the money. He replaces the stillborn baby with the child of his wife Doris's sister. The prosecutor Hamilton suspects from documents that something is not right and he goes to investigate.
