Benzina plot
"Two girls fuel the fire..."
Lenni has fled the oppressive life with her mother and ended up at Stella's gas station in the Italian countryside. The two have a fiery love affair when Lenni's mother shows up to rationalize her daughter and take her back home. In the quarrel that ensues, Lenni's mother falls, hits her head at the gas station counter and falls dead. Carrying a large amount of money, Lenni and Stella realize that they will be suspected of murder and, in a panic, the girls decide to dump the body in a garbage dump. With Stella's dog Clio and the dead body of Lenni's mother, they flee to Milan and Tunisia. A desperate night follows in which a couple of drunk, aggressive youngsters and the voice of Lenni's mother continue to haunt the two girls.
