1983, a peaceful Midwestern town. Norman, a young cop, is engaged to Frances. One day, his reckless brother Ray commits a murder. Norman decides to cover up the case to save his brother. However, as his marriage to Frances draws closer, tensions mount. Both brothers grapple with the terrible truth behind this tragedy that threatens to tear three generations of a family apart.
