In this true story, crime writer Arthur Upfield devises the perfect murder for a novel he is writing. Meanwhile, one of his friends actually carries out the plan before the book is published. In the novel, Aboriginal tracker Napoleon 'Boney' Bonaparte must find the killer. In reality, this is the job of Detective Harry Manning.
