Zhizn s Idiotom plot

An intellectual sees it as his duty to take in a madman from an asylum. After bribing the boss of an institution with some bottles of vodka, he gets to pick a madman and take him with him. He chooses Vova and takes him home. His wife is not very happy with the choice, because Vova says and does nothing and seems to be slowly getting used to the new situation. After a while, however, he slowly takes matters into his own hands and eventually drags the intellectual and his wife into a world of madness and violence.
