You Never Can Tell plot
Rowena Jones catches the eye of wealthy Casanova William Vaughn when she tries on an expensive fur coat belonging to one of the guests at the hotel where she works. Determined to marry a millionaire to ease her family's financial problems, Rowena accepts Vaughn's invitation to dinner. That afternoon, while modeling at a fashion show, Rowena finds herself attracted to a young man, but when he turns out to be a bad driver, she continues her pursuit of Vaughn. However, when Vaughn's wife appears at the dinner, Rowena agrees to go with her driver to a masked ball. Arriving at the ball, she is pleasantly surprised to discover that her lover is not a driver but a millionaire, who meets her standards for a husband.
