A German Shepherd, who has been employed by the police and the army, inherits a fortune from an eccentric millionaire. However, someone poisons the animal. The dog returns to Earth in human form. He becomes Rex Shepherd, a detective looking for the killer. Meanwhile, he tries to protect the girl who always cared for him.
