Yomei Ichinen, Otoko wo Kau plot

40-year-old Yui Katakura is single and saves money as a hobby. She is carefully building up a nest egg for her retirement, until a free cancer screening tells her she has only a year left to live. While she tries to process the shock, the handsome, pink-haired Yoshitaka Sena, known as Ryuma, appears with a remarkable request: whether she will lend him money. Since saving for her future no longer seems to make sense, Yui agrees to his request and buys Sena. Their unusual relationship subsequently takes an unexpected turn.
