Thomas Mao plot
A small house on the edge of a large lake, somewhere in a lonely and wide natural landscape in the Chinese countryside. The shepherd who lives there is therefore surprised when a strange Westerner, still in Red Army uniform, seeks shelter with him for a few days. They don't speak each other's language and quickly get on each other's nerves. Only when they sunbathe and doze off together, it becomes clear to us spectators how different the two eccentrics really are.
