Win It All plot
Eddie Garrett is a likeable Chicago man with a gambling problem. An acquaintance who has to go to prison asks him to keep an overnight bag. Eddie finds out that the bag contains a whopping $50,000 in cash. He can't resist the temptation and gambles everything... He must now do everything he can to win it back before the knowledge is released. Things get even more exciting when the prison sentence is shortened...

Nice. Win It All has a nice premise and the actors do a good job. But the script and directing are a little off. Is this a comedy? Then I probably missed something. The film is too serious for a comedy and too bland for a dramedy. Johnson and the other actors do their best, and the last few scenes ensure that Win It All ends on a strong note.

Sympathetic film that clearly outlines the problems of a gambling addict. Disappointing that it was no longer shown how things went on with the borrowed money. Have a nice look!

A fairly trivial story about a rather cliché story of a single man with money issues, who balances on the tightrope of good morals. A man who finds the (perfect) love of his life out of nowhere, tries to keep his secret hidden and tries to get rid of it. In all that with a sauce of feel good.
Acting indeed at a high level and that makes it even more enjoyable. You never get blown over and as a drama it is all a bit too light and too superficial. And it's not funny at all. Solid, but colorless. Good to have picked it up, but I won't really recommend it either.
