Harry Lucas works at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, which is responsible for minting coins and printing dollar bills. Due to a misunderstanding, he takes $50,000 home in a bag. There the stack of bills accidentally ends up in the garbage shredder. Harry can only save his job and his honor if he manages to raise the money over the weekend. It soon becomes apparent that he can only do this by breaking into his employer's house and printing the money with his own hands. For that, however, he needs accomplices and they appear to have their own peculiarities.
