What's Your Hurry? plot

"For the sake of a girl whose dad despised racers, he swore off speed cars and went to boosting trucks. Only to get himself and dad arrested. A girl; the cops; a storm; a bursted dam; and a soul-stirring race against death."

Dusty Rhoades is a race car winner, but fails to obtain permission from truck manufacturer Pat MacMurran to marry his daughter Virginia. Dusty strikes a deal with Pat to make his Parko trucks famous in exchange for Virginia's hand in marriage. After several disappointing attempts, Dusty hears that the Cabrillo Dam is about to break and threatens to flood the valley.
